Was a good stay, this time I had a working toilet lol. Only issues were the room service, it's none existent yet there is a room service menu in room, I tried it throughout the late afternoon and early evening, never did anyone pick up the phone, ever. I have been 3 times this year and all 3 times were the same, no answer to any calls to room service no matter what time I called, morning, afternoon or evening even though they are supposed to be open till 10pm or 10:30pm, this is advertised in the room booklet/menu in the room desk drawers. Staff nice as usual, I've been coming here for 25 years now, the only probs you usually get in the rooms is the poor flush on toilet so generally everytime you use it for number 2 it blocks BUT the toilet I had in this one room was like a rocket propelled sonic boom sucker outer ha ha. Brilliant. In 25 years I have never had such a powerful toilet in any of the 100s of rooms I've had at Royal palace ha ha.

No room service even though you have a room service menu in the room. Some of the lights / light switches didn't work, looking up at the ceiling you can see some lights bent out of shape lol

Location is very good. Staff is nice. Pool area is nice and experienced cleaning up. Rooms are big and clean. There is time from last renovation of rooms but also no need for renovation now. Hotel was very quiet and only partly in use.

Central AC is changed to more loud air heat pump - but this is more effective than old one. No safety box anymore at room - but safety box in reception works also. Price is a bit high.

Always loved this place. Staying here for lat 8 years

Reception staff not pleasant enough and bully you into paying a cash only deposit on arrival for the room albeit nothing mentioned on booking

Reception staff No bacon on breakfast buffet had to request and then came microwaved, terrible. Food obviously offered on strict budget.

Location and friendly doormen. Cashier very friendly and professional, wish the reception staff were as professional as the cashier.

Some reception staff are in need of training and don’t pay attention to what you say. Ran out of toilet paper in bathroom, should never happen especially as there is no water pistol to aid cleaning. No coffee provided . Insisting on a deposit when it is not asked for at point of booking online. Bad hotel policy and unprofessional. Mosquitos in reception area and staff were not interested when informed getting bitten often. in fact they just said go 7-11 and buy mosquito spray. Had to ask for bacon at breakfast came microwaved Yuk! Food very poor standard except an omelette which was well made to order.

Electric sockets are not safe,fridge very poor condition ,dirty & cracked walls,dirty bedsheets, bathtub not clean.... air conditions are not working properly .... my room was1004..I have pictures but I cannot downloaded....

Breakfast was really amazing, housekeeping guys you rock, cleaned our rooms, tidy and neat staff are good, there is no racism they treat you all same so i would recommend this

Nothing all good the pool was also good even the staff there are 2 properties, chose the one on the right.

The location was great, bed was ok, not too hard or too soft. Staff was a little rough around the edges. Didn't eat at the property but the restaurant looks clean.

Upon checking out , i was told by the staff at front desk , i had consume a bag of cashews, which i did not.. because the room service lady wasn't able to find it. I was also asked if i brought a lady guest ( prostitute ) into the room , that might of eaten the cashews, or if i ate them and forgot that i had eaten them ..... Staff went down every avenue of approach (excuses) to put the blame on me. Got frustrated with their nonsense and ended up paying $1.45 for the missing cashew bag.

Check-in and check-out was made quick and easy. Nice big outdoor pool.

No safety box in room ! Wi-Fi could have been stronger in room. At times lost connection.

Internet was terrible. Start and stop all day. Breakfast was plentiful but very basic. No fried bacon. Coffee left much to be desired

The AC of the room was not going off as soon as you pull out the key, and it takes long time to cool back, staff on front desk not mush friendly, i had the worst breakfast, bread was seemes very old. No live coocking.

Competitive price. Big carpark, about 10-15 min walk to Walking Street. Good to have 7-11 and a Familary Mart just outside on main road. Rent a car/van also nearby for day trips - hired a Camry to BKK for Bht1500 one way. 24 hour reception, guard at lift lobby. Pool was a good size on ground floor (did not use). Staff friendly. TV channels ok - BBC, CNN. Bathroom new, good water pressure during stay.

Decor old and lighting at night a bit dim, but still useable. No room safe.
